Man Finds A Squirrel In His Driveway And Raises ItRobert Milburn was in his driveway when he noticed a tiny, hairless creature lying on the pavement. Instead of leaving it out in the cold, he decided to wrap it up to keep it warm and take it inside his home. After browsing the Internet, he found out that this small animal the size of his thumb was actually a newborn squirrel. Milburn decided to wait for its mother to return and house the baby animal in a shallow box. The mother did come back once he set the box outside, but it left again. He assumed that this was because of the newborn’s mouth deformity, which made it unable to suckle properly. So, he decided that he would raise the tiny creature himself. He fed the newborn with a  puppy formula with a syringe every three hours, around the clock. The squirrel then grew and grew, and Milburn earned a new furry companion and friend in his home. He eventually named the baby squirrel Robert “Bobby” T. Squirrel. Milburn shared the journey of him and his squirrel on his TikTok account, and everybody on the Internet admired him for taking on a newborn animal, as well as keeping him close even if the animal already has a family at the present. Image credit: robertsquirrel/TikTok#squirrel #newborn #care
Kye the Rescued Donkey Thinks He's a DogA three-month-old donkey was abandoned by his mother after his birth. Fortunately, this young foal is now part of John Nuttall’s herd of animals. Nuttall, 64, rescued the animal, now named Kye, and raised him alongside his family’s other pets.Kye, funnily enough, is now acting like a dog. This is because the foal spent his early life with Nuttall’s dogs. Kye goes for walkies, plays ball, and even responds to dog whistles. According to Nuttall, even if the foal is now moved into a paddock with other donkeys, his dog-like mannerism will remain.  “I kept him in the house, and then he used to go in the garden with the dogs, so he grew up with me and the dogs, really,” he said. Image credit: John Nuttall/ SWNS#animals #rescue #donkey #Kye #care #dogs
Baby Antelope's First Attempt to WalkFor a child to stand and eventually walk for the first time is one of the milestones parents celebrate. We know that anything we do for the first time is difficult and uncomfortable but overcoming it makes all the challenges worthwhile. Take a look at this young Natal red duiker, a type of antelope, jumping to its feet, attempting to walk shortly after birth. The video posted online by the zoo Bioparc Valencia shows us the antelope standing upright shakingly as its mother takes care of its well-being.Just like the antelope, we need someone to guide us as we face the adversities of life. Let us be grateful to those who stick with us through thick and thin. Image: Bioparc Valencia/Zenger#Antelope #NatalRedDuiker #Animals #Care
