For a child to stand and eventually walk for the first time is one of the milestones parents celebrate. We know that anything we do for the first time is difficult and uncomfortable but overcoming it makes all the challenges worthwhile.
Take a look at this young Natal red duiker, a type of antelope, jumping to its feet, attempting to walk shortly after birth. The video posted online by the zoo Bioparc Valencia shows us the antelope standing upright shakingly as its mother takes care of its well-being.
Just like the antelope, we need someone to guide us as we face the adversities of life. Let us be grateful to those who stick with us through thick and thin.
