Otters are smart, adorable, curious, and playful, but they normally do not make good house pets. Lucky for us, we can enjoy them on video and avoid cleaning up after them! Hand-raised otters Kotaro and Hana receive extensive enrichment activities, and the latest is an optical illusion rug. This rug is designed to look like a hole in the floor. Kotaro and Hana are pretty surprised to see it at the bottom of the stairs -as we all would be. Hana is game to jump right down the hole, while Kotaro is more cautious. They soon get used to it as just a rug, but they are still up for playtime!
