Baby Sumatran Rhino is Super Rare and Super Cute!A Sumatran rhino baby has been born in Indonesia, and you'll be glad to find that it's super cute!The rhino is part of a captive breeding effort aimed at protecting the highly endangered species from extinction.According to a statement from Indonesia's environment ministry, the female rhino was born on March 24 in the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary in Way Kambas National Park in Sumatra's Lampung province. Andatu, a male born in the sanctuary in 2012, and Rosa, a female taken from the wild in 2005, are the parents of the calf.
