A football club from St. Petersburg made their grand entrance to a game at Gazprom Arena last week each holding a puppy from local Russian shelters. FC Zenit recruited players for the project called "Dogs are better at home." The project aims to find permanent home for dogs from the shelters and to raise funds for continuing shelter operations. Let's have another look.
You might have noticed player number 22, the last guy in the parade. His name is Artem Dzyuba, and he's definitely fallen in love with the puppy he's holding.
We don't yet know how many other puppies found homes because of the stunt, but Zenit has found a bunch of new fans around the world. -via Everlasting Blort ā
