Meet Fedya, an adorable cat who looks startled all the time. This feline wonder was once a weak and sickly stray cat but was adopted by Natalia Zhdanova when she found him in her backyard. The 40-year-old resident of Rostov, Russia, nursed the kitten back to health with the help of Handsome, her neighbor's cat.
A possible reason behind the cat's permanent startled expression is his misaligned eyes, which makes him seem surprised all the time. “We're not sure if it's a genetic deformity or if he was dropped by his mum as a kitten," Zhdanova said to People. "Now he is much healthier. He is a very sweet, gentle, playful, and intelligent cat. He purrs very loudly," she added.
Fedya is now a social media star with tens of thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok.
