This is Montequlla. His human servants recently moved to a new home. In the process of doing so, they got rid of some old furniture, including a recliner. They took it to an Arc Thrift Store in Denver, Colorado. Then Montequlla went missing.
Thrift store workers found him inside. He had apparently hid inside the chair during the confusion of the move and was delivered to the store. The staff called Denver Animal Protection agents, who rescued Montequlla and scanned his microchip. After some phone tag, Montequlla’s humans eventually arrived to bring him to his new home.
