Dog Steals the Spotlight During Marriage Proposal

Maddy and Jack have been together a long time, and their five-year-old golden retriever Sonny loves them both very much. Jack had planned to ask Maddy to marry him on a beach where they had spent quite a bit of time. Jack set up a camera to record the event, while telling Maddy he was taking a still for his phone background. Sonny picked up on the mood, and when Maddy was surprised to see Jack down on one knee, Sonny couldn't help himself.

That's one excited dog! Who knew that an engagement ring could cause a serious case of the zoomies. We'll be keeping on eye out for the wedding ceremony and how Sonny reacts. He is part of the wedding party, after all. That's a good dog.
