On Sunday, Kelly Dowling and her husband took their 8-month-old daughter to an urgent care clinic because she was running a fever. The clinic staff sent them home and told them to monitor the baby until they could see a pediatrician. Monday night, the family's Boston terrier Henry was being really annoying. He went in to see the baby every few minutes, waking her up. They shut the door, but Henry kept butting his head against it, trying to reach the baby. It turns out the infant was turning blue and struggling to breathe!
The Dowlings rushed their daughter to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford. The doctors there treated the child, who is now home and recovering from her illness. As for Henry, he is getting extra big Christmas treats for his efforts. Read more at WFSB. -via Fark
