Say hello to Harry, a happy little dog who can now see the world without any obstructions through a fence window his fur dad built for him.
Harry had always cheerfully hung out in his family’s fenced-in backyard, even though it did not let him see the entire outside world because of the pickets on the fence that were so closely spaced.
But then something happened that made it possible for Harry to see what lay beyond his backyard — a storm knocked over the fence and a new one was put up.
"When my dad rebuilt the fence, there was some spaces [between the pickets]," Alex Mcleish, Harry's owner, told The Dodo. "That’s when I caught Harry looking out the gaps!"
And guess what? Harry was very enthusiastic about it. He kept peeking through the narrow slits to see what was happening on the other side of the fence. But his sightseeing could be so much better... through a fence window.
"I jokingly suggested it to my dad after I caught Harry spending a good amount of time staring out of the gaps," Mcleish said. "I woke up on Sunday morning and my dad was making it for him!"
Mcleish's dad had cut out a window in the fence for Harry to take a peek of the outside with ease — and he was so thrilled.
Mcleish even said that Harry seemed to know it was for him since he patiently watched his fur dad finishing it. Ever since the fence window was installed, Harry had been sticking to that same spot for hours and would only come inside when his family called him.
Harry beamed with joy as he watched the world go by — what a cute little sight!
