“Cats of the Wedge” Tour 2019: A Walking Tour of Window Cats in Minneapolis Draws Hundreds of Visitors

The Wedge, Minneapolis — People had tried to convince John Edwards to cancel the annual cat tour because of bad weather. They pointed out the oncoming rain and the possibility that everyone might get wet during the event. But Edwards did not budge. He still decided to hold the event on that fateful day. And on that day in 2019, two miracles happened. The first one was that over 300 people showed up on the 3rd annual "Cats of the Wedge Walking Tour." Only around 30 people attended the event in 2018, so this was indeed a very welcome change.

The second miracle that happened was the sun "never stopped shining."

Throughout the tour, those who kept count stated that they saw more than 50 cats, most of which were spotted at windows. It was a fun and lovely time for everyone.

Edwards, the event's organizer, documents the event over at The Wedge Times-Picayune.

Here are some photos from the Cats of the Wedge tour. The rest are on the website.
