Toby may look like a grumpy old man, but his look are due to a rare genetic condition. Ehlers Danlos syndrome is a disorder of the connective tissue, and may affect many of the body's organs. It has no effect on Toby's personality or mood, because he's a generally sweet cat.
Toby and his buddy Quinton, who has no teeth, were rescued together and found a forever home together. Their family also includes Leo and Chino, who also have Ehlers Danlos syndrome, but don't exhibit the facial droopiness that Toby does.
