Draco is not afraid of much. But when he saw some hikers carrying a canoe, the cat immediately slipped out of its harness and ran away up the side of the mountain. Most people would worry about the situation, but not the couple who owned Draco. They knew how tough he was. Still, they searched for him.
In the following days, the couple searched and put up posters about the missing Draco. They also offered a $1,000 reward for the person who could find him. Unfortunately, their efforts were met with no success.
Over a month after his disappearance, Draco was eventually lured by one of the residents with some treats and was returned to his owners.
The fact that he survived over a month is already surprising. The fact that Draco went missing to a place rich with coyotes, wolves, and bears, and survived, is even more astonishing.
