Moose Found Awkwardly Stuck on Fence"Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation…"Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police received a call about a moose stuck on a fence in Barkhamsted, Connecticut. It was an obvious case of misjudgment when jumping the fence. The moose was not impaled, but couldn't move forward or backward. He was apparently no stranger to bad decisions as he was already missing one antler. CSECP discussed possible solutions, then called the local fire department to cut the fence. The firefighters used their jaws of life to cut one end of the fence panel loose. They didn't need to cut the other end of the panel, because that's when the moose moved forward and the fence was pushed down. After the fence was down, the moose nonchalantly walked away. The number of moose sightings in small Connecticut towns has increased lately because it's mating season, and moose are looking for love in all the wrong places. -via Fark (Image credit: Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police) #moose #fence #rescue
Moose Dives off a Cliff into the OceanI bet that this is the first time that you will see an adventurous bull moose take a moose dive off a cliff into the ocean. On the island of Newfoundland, Canada, moose are known to be nuisance animals and their interactions are always fascinating. This particular moose, however, may have wanted to stand out or dive right into the controversy. In this video, the moose can be seen standing on the edge of a cliff, seeming like a person who contemplates life; or someone who wants to be a part of a melancholic music video. People were amazed by this and took a video of the moment when the moose suddenly took a dive. The people around the area were initially worried, but to their surprise, the moose just got back to the shore as if nothing happened. What a dive diva! Video credit: Alyssa Hewlett on YouTube#Animal #Canada #Moose

Moose Calf Lick Snow off the Hood of Woman's Car in MaineComing across a full-grown moose could make for a terrifying ordeal. But having a moose calf approach your car to lick snow off its hood? Possibly the most adorable thing you would have experienced for a whole month.Margo Lukens had been driving home from the Caribou Bog Conservation Area via Taylor Road in Orono, Maine when the incident happened. She had spotted lines of cars stopped on both sides of the road, a police car ahead, and decided to pull over. The reason was no other than a young moose. It approached her car and began nibbling on the snow that had piled up on the hood. Lukens was neither scared nor concerned, as was her dog who had been with her in the car.Check out the full clip that Lukens recorded below.
