The cat is not his. The feline ran to his deck for safety, but the coyote was not giving up. The cat tries both fleeing and fighting for his life, and jumped to the handrail a couple of times, only to be pulled back by the coyote. The cat finally clawed its way up a wooden post, staying out of the coyote's reach. The video showed the bear climbing up and over the fence where the two pigs, named Mary and Hammy, stayed.The bear began to attack Mary but eventually retreated as the latter pushed back against her much larger foe. Hammy then also charged the bear and scared it off, making it jump across the other side of the pen in defeat."I am very proud of them because Hammy, the little one especially, he’s afraid of his own shadow and the way he came charging out when he seen Mary tussling with the bear," said Shaw.
