A Camel Quietly Escaped a Nativity Scene And Spent Hours Roaming Bonner Springs, KansasA camel successfully broke loose from a nativity scene and decided to roam the streets of Bonner Springs, Kansas, for hours! According to the Bonner Springs Police Department, the animal’s halter broke while it was displayed at the Agriculture Hall of Fame. Before anyone could notice the issue, the camel stealthily ran away from the scene.People in the area searched for the elusive animal until 2 a.m., but failed to locate the camel. It was sighted running during the afternoon of the next day. Photographers Outfitted a Camel with a Camera Rig and Let Her Roam the Deserts of Saudi Arabia by Herself to Capture Some Stunning Photos Deserts are vast spaces with a variety of terrain features and weather conditions. There are areas that are challenging or even perhaps too extreme for humans to explore.But with the help of Sahra the Camel, photographers of the Wunderman Thompson creative agency were able to take never-before-seen pictures of Saudi Arabia’s deserts.This is what executive creative director Rayyan Aoun had to say about this grand venture, “This project is a part of ‘Unveil Saudi’ a bigger initiative we launched for [Saudi Telecom Company]; a long-term platform that demonstrates the power of stc’s network coverage through unveiling content about the country. In this year’s project, we utilized Sarha, the camel, and decided to go further and unveil the unseen wonders of Saudi Arabia. This project allowed us to put stc’s network to the ultimate test.”For her journey, Sahra was strapped with a rig that contained the necessary equipment to photograph images, including a sturdy military-grade laptop and some solar panels. She was sent to roam around the deserts for seven days.
