To a bald eagle, a lake is a drive thru window at a natural restaurant. Wildlife photographer Mark Smith recorded this amazing footage of this masterful hunter and athlete who swoops down upon the water, pulls out a fish, and eats it alive all while staying aloft.
So it’s not even using a drive thru window conventionally. The eagle is essentially using said feature while still driving and not stopping even to grab the bag full of Whataburgers. Try doing that in your Kia.
It all looks majestic, but this is also a sign of deep stress. I mean, we’ve all gobbled down food while rushing to work. It’s not a good feeling.
