Vet Is Shocked To Discover These On A Sick Cat’s Stomach

Oh, this poor cat!

On being rescued by a good Samaritan, a feline named Juliet was sent to the Charleston Animal Society after being left by her original owner to fend outside on her own. Upon being brought to a clinic, she initially looked fine. After several weeks, the people in charge noticed that she was not eating at all.

Deciding to run some tests on the cat, the team discovered that she had “an unusual sort of blockage in her stomach that would kill her if it was not removed.” So a vet team began to help her from her predicament, and to their shock and horror, found what the “unbelievable blockage” was. Hair ties.

They were able to remove 38 hair ties from Juliet. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” Dr. Jamison, the one who performed the surgery, said.

Unfortunately, the removal was not enough to make Juliet survive, as the blockage caused a liver condition. At least, the clinic was able to make her feel better in her last days. Rest well, Juliet!
