Grace Mariani graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey on Monday. Mariani earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, and plans to go into special education. Her service dog Justin was there with her every day during her entire college career, so during the graduation ceremony at at the Prudential Center, Justin received his own special diploma from the school's president Joseph E. Nyre. Mariani's diploma came in the customary leather folder, while Justin's was the old-fashioned rolled up version, which he took in his mouth. Notice that Justin, who was on duty, only took the diploma after Grace indicated to him that it was okay.
Justin is only six years old, so he is probably the school's youngest graduate ever. That's a good dog.
