Imagine taking a skunk into your home to care for! Well, when you have a big heart, you can't just designate which needy animal will latch on to you for survival. This tiny skunk pup approached the woman because she was all alone and didn't know what else to do. No mother or siblings were found. So just like that, the little skunk becomes part of the household. This wasn't exactly a pet adoption, but more of a rescue and rehabilitation. When the skunk was older, she was released back into the forest. However, she never forgot her human mom, and comes back to visit quite often for old time's sake, and for cheese puffs. Cheese puffs will buy lifetime loyalty.
That said, even with a loving bond, this woman was very lucky she never got sprayed by accident.
