The Wyndotte, Michigan, Police Department was stunned to find they had a thief among their ranks. When Officer Barwig was called away from lunch to assist with an unruly prisoner, he returned to find his sandwich gone. All evidence leads to the perpetrator being Officer Ice of the K-9 unit. Officer Ice invoked his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and is not cooperating with the investigation.
An update on the situation makes clear that Ice has a lot of support from the local community. He has been offered free legal counsel and snacks. The police department has been threatened with protests if the case against Ice goes forward. It was decided that all charges should be dropped. After all, Ice is a very good boy.
