Police officers discovered a live deer in the trunk of a car during a traffic stop. The vehicle was pulled over in the area of Old Trail Road and Old York Road, Pennsylvania. According to authorities, the driver was stopped because he was initially suspected of driving under the influence. Upon a closer inspection of the car and its passengers, the police were shocked to notice a deer in the back of the car.
According to the passengers, they hit the animal during their drive. Thinking that the poor deer was dead, they placed it in the back of the car. However, the animal survived! But instead of releasing it back into the wild, they kept the deer.
Don’t worry, as the animal has since been safely released thanks to the officers on the scene that day.
