Bull moose shed their antlers after mating season is over. They don't need them to fight other moose anymore, and that's a lot of weight off! But they rarely drop both at once, and it's even more rare to catch a moose doing it on camera. Those odds go up when you have a motion-activated security camera. Tyra and Chance Bogert of Houston, Alaska, (a suburb of Anchorage) caught the action on their Ring doorbell camera when a huge moose shook his body, causing his loose antlers to pop off. The event startled him a little, and the moose ran off. The Bogerts collected the antlers, and plan to mount them. But they need a lot of wall space, as those antlers are 50 inches long -each! -via Fark
