Sheiko the cat is a very well-informed feline, in large part due to her natural curiosity, but also the diligent education of her human instructor. He's published on Instagram and TikTok a series of videos in which he uses her toys to illustrate famous invents in world history.

Here, for example, is the explosion of the US space shuttle Challenger in 1986 with the tragic loss of all hands.

Here, Sheiko learns about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Disasters feature prominently in these videos, chronologically starting with the asteroid impact that ended the age of dinosaurs.

I doubt that Sheiko plays with potatoes, but in this video, she learns about the Irish Potato Famine of the Nineteenth Century.

Here's the assassination of President John Kennedy in 1963.

In most of these videos, Sheiko appears to be only marginally interested. But this one involves catnip.
