Michele Mitchell's (mamabear3865) cat Starz already has a couple of kittens that are grown, Thomas and Nova. But Starz was pregnant again, and when she felt it was time, she demanded that her daughter Nova accompany her to the nest she had ready in the upstairs bathroom. Nova wasn't all that eager, so Starz had to resort to dragging her by the scruff of the neck as if she were still a tiny kitten.
Starz wasn't going to give up until Nova went with her to her birthing box. You don't argue with a queen in the throes of a hormone storm.
While it was a chore to get her in place, Nova was there when the blessed event happened. Starz's instincts were correct. Nova ended up being a big help with the new litter of six kittens.
Even Thomas is helping out!
