Some dog owners like to keep their pups entertained while they are away. Sure, some thoughtless humans just hand a dog an iPad to distract it. But others curate the media content their dogs are consuming.
What do the dogs themselves like to watch? According to a study published in Applied Animal Behavior Science, dogs really like watching other dogs. A survey of dog owners in the United States found that 86% of the dogs watched screens. Most expressed excitement by approaching the screen (78%) or vocalizing (76%). Overall, the dogs were most interested in content with other animals, especially fellow dogs.
