The New Jersey State Police informs us that on March 29, a 4-year old boy wandered away from his home in Buena Vista Township and into the dense woods nearby. It was cold and the boy was not well-dressed for the weather.
Fortunately, the family’s black Labrador Retriever never left his side during the whole ordeal. When police found him after an hour of searching the woods, the excited dog eagerly welcomed them, having discharged her duties faithfully.
