Local News 12 reports that Julie and Jimmy Johnson, who own three dogs already, woke up one morning to find that a strange dog was snuggling with them in their bed at their home in Polk County, Tennessee. The pit bull was very chill and relaxed like walking into a strangers home and going to bed was a normal thing to do.
The Johnsons’ three dogs, who normally bark at anything remotely resembling an intruder, did nothing.
The Johnsons put up a Facebook post about this encounter. The owner of the dog, whom they discovered was named Nala, lived two miles away. She rushed over to pick up Nala and take her back home. If she had not done so, the Johnsons say that they would have gained a fourth dog.
