Cats are known to be independent creatures. They fully own their lives, and they live on their own terms. Some might even describe their behavior as bratty, especially when they don't get what they want. They tend to be rebellious and cause a lot of mischiefs. And so, when you leave your cat (or cats) at home, make sure to monitor their activities. And that's just what Emily Chaplin and her husband did. They set up a camera to keep an eye on their cat Coco when they're away.
As with other cats, Coco "loves opening cabinets." Sometimes he sleeps in the cabinets, but sometimes he gets his own food from there, according to Chaplin.
As both of them go out of the house to work, the couple decided to place a camera high on the shelf that overlooks the kitchen. They thought that the place was unreachable for Coco. They thought wrong.
One day, Coco decided to open the kitchen cabinet again. He was about to enter the cabinet when he heard the disembodied voice of Emily's husband.
"Excuse me, sir! What are you doing?"
Surprised, the cat steps out of the cabinet to look for the source of the voice. It doesn't take him long to realize that it was from the surveillance camera.
"Coco, get out of there," said the voice.
Coco certainly did not like that he was being watched. With one swipe of his paw, the feline removed the camera from the shelf. And it fell.
