Madeline in Chicago loves her cat, Wilbur, and playing the violin. But her violin and cat are decidedly not friends. Wilbur, whom I assume is a metalhead, loathes the sounds of classical strings and viciously attacks their source.
The off-camera human suggests that perhaps Wilbur just hates the high pitch. But I prefer to think of his as a critic of either the style or Madeline’s performing abilities.
