I’d like to specify that this was an actual bobcat—the animal—and not comedian Bobcat Goldthwait. If animal control officers had been summoned to forcibly extract Mr. Goldthwait from a car’s engine compartment, the video would have been entertaining for completely different reasons.
In this case, a man called the sheriff’s deputies of Portage County, Wisconsin to ask for help. He complained that a bobcat had taken up residence in the grille of his Toyota. The deputies summoned help from the state Department of Natural Resources, whose officers were able to get a leash around the ferociously combative bobcat and remove him from the car.
