Wildlife doesn’t really get a lot of natural habitat these days. Humanity comes to their locations and decides to construct settlements, businesses, industries, and factories. Building roads and cutting down forests would result in these animals having nowhere to go, and that makes it more dangerous for them.
But that doesn’t mean that these animals won’t try to survive. In fact, they do try to interact with the new environment around them, and sometimes, humans assist them too. Such is the case of this one baby elephant that was stuck on the side of a road.
The animal was struggling to get out of the mud that was on that part of the road. In a video posted by u/PxN13 on Reddit, a girl approaches the elephant to help it get out of its predicament. She guides the elephant to lift one leg and then the other to get out.
The elephant was able to then get out of the mud and was happy. It even managed to say thank you to the young girl by lifting its trunk. "The trunk nod at the end was heart melting. Like 'thanks for that.. you're cool x,' " one user commented.
