The couple that run the farm called Our Simple Homestead had to rescue a newborn donkey when his mother rejected and even attacked him. What do you do with a newborn donkey? You keep him warm and safe, and you feed him. They went above and beyond the call of duty and milked the baby's uncooperative mother to get proper donkey milk! The tiny black donkey they named Cash bonded with his human mom and became part of the household, playing with his dog buddies, walking the farm, and always coming back to mom and dad. Cash sees nothing wrong or even unusual about a donkey living inside with his family.
