Amber the Orangutan Wants to Look at Babies

When you visit a zoo, have you ever gotten the feeling that it is we, the humans, who are on display to the animals? The apes behind a glass wall see a never-ending procession of people who come by for their entertainment. At the Louisville Zoo in Kentucky, an orangutan named Amber often takes the opportunity to interact with the people on the other side of the glass. Kayla Jaylen Natsis took her three-month-old baby on a trip to the zoo this week, and Amber made it clear that she wanted to see the baby. 

After all, who doesn't want to see a baby? It's not the first time Amber asked for a peek. TikTokker Shalena Hittle posted a video from earlier this month when Amber asked to see her two-week-old infant.
