Just look at this lizard! It strongly resembles a certain Marvel superhero we all know and love. The Mwanza flat-headed rock agama not only sports the colors of Spider-Man's suit, but it also can run on its hind legs and crawl up walls that appear to be unclimbable! There has been a lot of interest in keeping this agama as a pet, and suppliers are having trouble filling orders.

The Mwanza flat-headed rock agama is native to Kenya, where they have adapted to living in thatched roofs. Before you think of keeping one, be aware that they need a specialized diet and can live a long time, which takes a certain commitment to their well-being. It's only dominant males who sport these bright colors, so putting two in the same environment is not a good idea.
