A Feral Cat Makes a Very Slow Turnaround

Many organizations have TNR (trap, neuter, return) programs to deal with adult feral cats because there are so many of them and they are very difficult to socialize. But not impossible. It just takes more time and more patience than volunteers can spend when there are other, more effective things to be done for the overpopulation of cats. But when this kind of project involves one cat and one person with an awful lot of patience, miracles can happen.

Bruce the Bobcat is no bobcat, that's just his name. He was feral and avoided humans at all costs. But a woman in his territory took on the task of taming Bruce. It took a year and a half!

Baby steps can lead to wonderful things if you don't rush it. It also took lots of treats and allowing Bruce all the time he needed to adjust. Bruce is now happy and living his best life. You can see more of Bruce the Bobcat at TikTok. -via Boing Boing
